Abstract

PURPOSE: To adjust the stop position of a motor accurately and easily by varying the stop phase of the motor by varying a bias voltage applied to an adding circuit.
CONSTITUTION: If the stop phase of motor 1 is shifted from a normal stop position in the normal rotation direction of motor 1 owing to the setting error, etc., of phase detector 2, negative bias voltage -E is applied from DC power source 10 to adding circuit 6 to shift this stop phase in the reverse direction. With this negative bias voltage, the phase of the output voltage of circuit 6 between threshold levels of comparators 11 and 12 shifts in the reverse direction of the motor and the phase of output voltage of adding circuit 13, when at zero V, also shifts in the reverse direction accordingly. Thus, the stop position of the motor can be adjusted accurately and easily.
