Abstract
PURPOSE: Titled rubberlike adhesive composition, with excellent oil extention property in liquid, and excellent curing property free from byproducts in the absence of a solvent, capable of cure adhereing free from byproducts in the absence of a solvent, which comprises a polyfunctional isocyanate compound, a curing catalyst and a liquid polybutadiene copolymer having a terminal hydroxy group.
CONSTITUTION: An adhesive, comprising (A) a polyfunctional isocyanate compound (e.g. methane diisocyanate, diphenylmethane-4,4'-diisocyanate), (B) a curing catalyst (e.g., trimethylamine, N,N'-dimethylbenzyl-amine) and (C) a terminal hydroxy group-containing polybutadiene copolymer of formula I or II (wherein R is H, an alkyl, alkenyl, nitrile or phenyl; a≥0.7, b≤0.3, where a+b=1; n is an integer, defining MW of the polybutadiene copolymer to be 500W5,000). It is preferable to compound 0.7W1.2 equibalents of the polynfunctional isocyanate compound with one equivalent of the terminal hydroxy group-containing polybutadiene compound.
