Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the uitlizing efficiency of memory through compressing the information to be stored, by counting the period of zero, when the increment of signal is substantially zero, and recording the result with the data representing the signal level.
CONSTITUTION: The signal 3a output from an A/D converter 3 is compared at the previous signal according to the signal 9a of the control circuit 9, and it is fed to the detector 6 which detects the change for the period and a memory 7 to record the signal 3a. The detector 6 makes the signal 6a into "1" if the result of change of comparison is substantially zero. The signal 6a is input to the counter 8 and the control cicuit 9. The counter 8 counts the number of outputs and feeds the result at memory 7. The data read out from the memory 7 is the signal 7a and input to the output, and it is output externally after being converted into analog signal at the A/D converter 11. Thus, the utilizing efficiency of memory can be increased.
