Abstract

PURPOSE: To inexpensively obtain annular members of intricate sectional shapes and small diameters by aligning both ends of a bar-like blank material to the two die holes of a predetermined shape formed mutually symmetrically, and approaching and moving the two dies alternately, thereby forming the blank material to an annular shape.
CONSTITUTION: Both ends of a blank material 13 consisting of a bar-like member are matched to the die holes 15 which are formed mutually symmetrically in two dies 12, 12', match the sectional shape of the blank material 13 and consist of arcs of a predetermined length and said two dies 12, 12' are moved so as to approach to each other to pass said blank material 13 into the die holes 12, 12', whereby the material is formed to an annular member 13b.
