Abstract

PURPOSE: To shorten a time for setting and also to extend a range of set time by a system wherein an initial time value setting on a counter is carried out with the same setting means, and the setting is brought in hour/minute digits on a clock counter and in minute/second digits on a time counter.

CONSTITUTION: When there works an output on an output terminal 0 of a setting control circuit S₃ at actuating a time digit setting key S₁, an hour digit setting circuit C₂ is actuated and an hour digit on an hour digit counter TC₁ is added in trioctal format. For completion of a desired hour digit setting the key S₁ is stopped operating. Then, when a minute setting key S₂ is actuated and there works an output on an output terminal U or D, a minute digit setting circuit C₅ adds or substracts a minute digit on the counter CT₁ in decimal format according to the output. Next, when there works an output on the terminal U or D of the circuit S₃ at the time of the key S₁ actuation, a minute digit setting circuit F₃ adds or subtracts in decimal format according to the output. The setting is completed by stopping the key S₁ operating. Then, where there works an output on the output terminal 0 at the time of the key S₂ operation, a second digit setting circuit F₃ adds a second digit in sexadesimal format. The counter set as above is transmitted to a clock memory or counter and displayed on a display 5.
