Abstract
PURPOSE: To quickly open turbine by-pass valves, by providing a pressurized oil quick supply/drain valve which crosswise connects the piston top chamber of one of two by-pass valve actuators to the piston bottom chamber of the other.
CONSTITUTION: The degrees of opening of by-pass valves 1A, 1B are controlled by actuators 2A, 2B and servo valves 9A, 9B. When a pressurized oil quick supply/ drain valve 24 is energized, pressurized oil in a piston top chamber 7A (7B) is introduced into a piston bottom chamber 8B (8A) to quickly move up a piston 4 to rapidly open the by-pass valves 1A, 1b. Simplification of piping 9 and improvement of reliability are thus enabled without installing an accumulator even if numerous by-pass valves are provided.
