Abstract

PURPOSE:To extend an effective processing time for control of an electric motor, by applying the first clock signal to start a stage counter to start counting and by causing a stage latch circuit to hold each stage signal synchronously with a second clock signal. CONSTITUTION:A stage counter 670 counts a clock signal phi1. A stage decoder 672 receives the output signal of the stage counter 670 to send out processing signals for stages. Since each processing signal is considerably delayed with regard to the clock signal phi1, the effective time of each processing would be shortened. To extend the effective time, a stage latch 674 is provided. The latch 674 is caused to hold the output signal of the stage decoder 672 by a second clock signal phi2. The output signal of the stage latch 674 is used as a processing signal for a stage.
