Abstract
PURPOSE: To establish the said electrode which is excellent in Ca ion selectivity and long in the life, by using the reacted film through the sintering of mixture of calcium fluoride and fluoride of rare-earth elements.
CONSTITUTION: The reacted film 1 obtained through the sintering of mixture of 99.5W5mol% of calcium fluoride and 0.1W95mol% one or more of rare-earth element fluoride (e.g., LnF3), is bonded at the tip of hollow and cylindrical epoxi resin body 2, and as internal liquid 3, a solution including 10-3M calcium chloride is given to saturated potassium chloride. Ag-Ag chloride electrode 4 is immersed, a lead 6 is picked up by covering a cap 5 to constitute the electrode. This electrode shows the Nernst reaction with 29mV/pCa2+(25°C) at pH1W10 to calcium ions at 10-1W10-5M.
