Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable simple and safe disposal of the melted substance by a method wherein a rotary board, while being cooled, is made to conduct the congelation and crushing of the melted substance when it is dropped.
CONSTITUTION: When the melted substance is led and dropped from a melting substance dropping port 2 on to the rotary board 3, it drops on to a position apart from the central point of the rotation of the rotary board 3 and, while being cooled, is spattered to the peripheral part of the board by its rotational force. When the distance of dropping is set so that the melted substance being dropped is cooled down to a level near the point of congelation thereof by the time of its arrival at the board 3, the substance is cooled to the temperature below the point of congelation and congealed simultaneously with its arrival at the board 3, and the substance thus congealed is spattered by the rotational force of the rotary board and is made into flakes. The spattered congealed substance slips down on the titled bottom surface of a disposal chamber 1 into a discharge groove 36 and is discharged from a discharge port by a discharging conveyor 37.
