Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily manufacture the lightweight metallic sheet, strong against the external pressure, and excellent in the fire-resistance and heat-resistance, by interposing many hollow poles between two thin metallic sheets, by setting these poles with the brazing metal, and further, by applying the thin metallic side sheets around the outer circumference, and by setting these side sheets for finishing the integrated metallic sheet.
CONSTITUTION: Required number of metallic hollow poles 2 are interposed between two thin metallic sheets 1, 1' at a suitable position; then, while two metallic sheets 1, 1' are pressed from top and bottom, the poles 2 are welded to the sheets using the brazing metal 4; hereby, the integrated lightweight metallic sheet is prepared. The outer circumference of this integrated sheet is surrounded with the metallic side sheets 5, 6, 7, 8 which are set to the integrated sheet by the riveting and caulking or by the brazing metal 4; hereby, the completely integrated lightweight metallic sheet is finished. Hereupon, the same material is used for the thin metallic sheets 1, 1', hollow poles 2, and side sheets 5, 6, 7, 8. According to the present method, the lightweight metallic sheet shaped similarly to the thick plate, and excellent in pressure-resistance, fire-resistance, and heat-resistance, can be easily manufactured.
