Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to carry out various adjustments and sludge treatment easily in a precipitation tank by enabling the collection and the measurement of various samples at each depth necessary for maintaining and controlling of various conditions.
CONSTITUTION: This sample collecting and measuring apparatus constituted from a sample collecting preparatory bottle 16 connected to a vacuum pump 10, a sample collecting bottle 17 and a sample measuring and collecting bottle 18 connected to a bottom portion of the bottle 17 by a conduit 30. A suction pipe 10 equipped with a suction port 11 mounted with a weight is lowered to a necessary depth by rotating a hose drum 8 and a sample is collected therefrom by the vacuum pump 1 through the bottles 16, 17. The sample collected in the bottle 18 is measured by a water level gauge 28 and, after supplied to the bottle 18 in a predetermined amount through a check valve 29, a flow speed necessary for measuring is imparted to the sample by a stirrer 19 and MLSS, SV30, DO, temp., pH, BOD and an activated sludge interface or the like as a standard of maintenance management are measured by a measuring panel 21 through various detecting sections and the interior of a precipitating tank is regulated properly.
