Abstract

PURPOSE: To measure a hardening degree, by giving impulse to a concrete material to generate an elastic wave and by measuring the frequency of air vibration dependent upon this elastic wave.
CONSTITUTION: Measuring unit main body 1 is put on mold frame material B used both as the surface finishing material or the finishing underground material of driven-in concrete material A. Measuring unit 1 is provided with barrel-shaped part 2, grasp part 3. trigger 4, and so on and can be carried with one hand. Barrel- shaped part 2 is energized slid forward by compression spring 5, and striking bar 6 having stopping part 6b which is stopped to a part of trigger 4 by pulling back handle 6a of the rear end part against compression spring 5 is inserted into barrel- shaped part 2. Bowl-shaped material 7 is mounted on the tip of barrel-shaped part 2 and is caused to adhere closely to mold frame material B. Trigger 4 is pulled to cause striking bar 6 to strike the outside face of moled frame material B, and an elastic wave accompained with intrinsic vibration of concrete material A is generated, and the output signal of sensor 8 is amplified in 9 and is compared with data stored previously by frequency analyzer 10.
