Abstract
PURPOSE: A forming material suitably used as coating or adhesive that is composed of a polyesteramide-imide prepared by modifying an aliphatic polyester with a specific aliphatic tetracarboxylic acid and an aliphatic polyamine, thus showing high flexibility and heat resistance.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A polyester prepared from an alicyclic or aliphatic dicarboxylic acid or its derivative such as adipic acid and an aliphatic polyhydric alcohol bearing 2 or more hydroxyl on different carbon atoms such as ethylene glycol is modified with (B) 1,2,3,4-butanetetracarboxylic acid or its derivative, preferably by 0.5W2mol, and an aliphatic polyamine bearing 2 or more amino groups on different carbon atoms, perferably by 0.6W1.2mol to produce the objective forming material consisting of polyesteramideimide or containing the same as the major component.
EFFECT: The product is used in any form, i.e., nonsolvent type, organic solution type and water-soluble type.
