Abstract

PURPOSE:To record electrical information converted into thermal information by means of a thermal recording head, by a method wherein a dispersion in which thermally expansive microspherical bodies are dispersed in a binder vehicle is applied on a paper substrate to obtain a thermally foamable heat-sensitive recording paper. CONSTITUTION:(A) Thermally expansive microspherical bodies (for example; a hollow particle having vinylidene chloride-acrylonitrile copolymer as a capsule wall, which contains 5-50wt% of a blowing agent such as butane and has a 3-200mu diameter and also has preferably a foaming temperature of 100-150 deg.C) and, if necessary, (B) a thicknening agent (for example; methylcellulose etc.) are dispersed in (C) a binder vehicle (for example; a polyvinyl acetate emulsion) and the obtained dispersion is applied on a paper substrate. The preferable compounding ratio of the component A is 70-150wt% against the compound C.
