Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate special picture image formation and to improve special effect more, by using the input device of plug-in units stored with special effect control data. CONSTITUTION:Plug-in unit 31 has incorporated programmable ROM as a memory element and is divided into four areas and in each area, required data are written in the transmission format. Further, the switch with which combinations of horizontal and vertical effect modes of a TV picture can be decleared is added and with this switch, four kinds of effect can be extracted from the same unit. Data read out of unit 31 are stored via the interface part in event memory 33 matching the sequence during programming. During the execution of the programming, stored data are supplied from memory 33 to digital special effect device 35 via interface part 34 to form a series of programs.
