Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled composition capable of forming a film having improved heat resistance and transparency of polypropylene-based resin of its own, and tack, obtained by blending polyolefin-based rubber with polybutene and a tackifier, and, if necessary, a peroxide.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. of polyolefin-based resin is blended with 1W20pts.wt. of polyolefin-based rubber, 10W30pts.wt. of polybutene, 0.1W10pts.wt. of a tackifier (preferably usable as a food additive, e.g., sorbitan batty acid ester, etc.), and, if necessary, a very small amount of a peroxide (e.g., di-t-butyl peroxide, etc.) to give the desired composition. An amount of the peroxide is 10W1,000ppm based on the total weight of the other ingredients. The addition of the peroxide can recover the transparency in low-temperature extrusion and moldability by the adjustment of melt index, increase the film strength, and improve heat resistance.
USE: Suitable for a lapping film for home use and stretch film for service.
