Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an necessary area as a solar cell even when an apparatus body is miniaturized by a mechanism wherein the solar cell is not mounted to the apparatus body, and the solar cell is installed to a case and electrically connected to the apparatus body. CONSTITUTION:An electronic desk computer 6 is covered with a folding case 8. A solar sell is installed on a surface of the folded case 8. Two convex sections 9 functioning as electric contacts are formed on a surface, on which the body 6 contacts, of the case 8, two concave sections 7 each corresponding to the convex sections 9 are further made up on the back of the body 6, and the convex sections 9 and the concave sections 7 contact to connect the case 8 and the body 6. A secondary battery is mounted into the body 6, and the solar cell is exposed to the light in an unused condition. Thus, an area as the solar cell can be enlarged even when the body 6 is miniaturized considerably.
