Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate an easy head leading of a tape and at the same time eliminate the malfunction, by providing the saturation amplifier which turns the output level to a high or low level according to the presence of the intra-data signal of the recorded tape and then securing a forcible holding of the saturation amplifier output at a low level after a fixed time shorter than the period due to the force of inertia of a motor or the like.

CONSTITUTION: In the head leading circuit 14, the intra-music nonsignal part is detected for the intra-data part detection circuit. In this case, the high-speed reproduction signal applied to the input terminal IN is amplified up to the point of saturation and then clamped to a high and low level with presence and absence of the signal respectively by the saturation amplifier 141.
