Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the variance of intensity at a close-distance sound field, by forming the disk-type oscillator into a curved structure in which the thickness is reduced at the center part and increased at the circumference part respectively. CONSTITUTION:The oscillator 2 has the maximum amplitude at its thickness S= lambda/2 and has deterioration of the efficiency as the thickness is reduced or increased. In this connection, the thickness of the oscillator is set to lambda/2 at the center part and then increased toward the circumference. As a result, the waveform of a simple gauss-type distribution can be obtained even at a close-distance sound field as well as the waveform in which the side lobe is reduced greatly even at a long-distance sound field. Thus the quality of a picture can be improved.
