Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the sufficient effect of heating and, in addition, to enable automatic fire extinguishing by water at the time of earthquake, etc. by a method wherein the heat of the heated gas obtained through combustion of the solid fuel such as a briquet is once accumulated to heat uniformly the outer periphery of the main body of the stove.
CONSTITUTION: The briquet 1 is put in a briquet case 14 on employment and, after being ignited, is placed doubly in a pile, for instance, within a combustion chamber 2. The heated gas produced by the combustion of the briquet flows from the combustion chamber 2 into the bottom part of a heating chamber 4 through a smoke pipe 3 and rises through the space 21 of a heat accumulator 18. At this time, the main body 22 of the heat accumulator and a heat-accumulating material 23 are heated. Since this main body 22 is formed by rolling up a corrugated sheetlike steel plate like a vortex and filling the vortexlike space 21 thus made with the heat- accumulating material 23, it is capable of accumulating a large amount of heat and this heat is radiated outward. At a time when an earthquake happens, a water- pouring valve mechanism 25 is opened by the vibration and the water in a tank 5 is sprinkled on the briquet from a nozzle 10 to extinguish the flame thereof.
