Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of the device and widen the range of measurement thereby by a constitution wherein a plurality of siphon pipes each one end of which is connected and which are different from each other in the height up to the respective U-shaped parts and in the inside diameter are provided in a liquid-containing tank provided with a level indicator and the other end of the sipon pipe having a small inside diameter is opened inside the siphon pipe having a larger inside diameter.
CONSTITUTION: In the liquid-containing tank 1 is provided the level indicator composed of electrodes 8A and 8B, which is surrounded by a cylinder with many holes provided so as to prevent the effect of ruffles of the surface of the liquid. In the upper part is provided an air-escape hole. As the surface of the liquid rises, the siphons work sequentially in the order of their size, lower the surface of the liquid in the tank 1, and thus the condition allowing the measurement occurs over again. Therefore, the flow rate within a wide range can be measured by means of the simple structure.
