Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable binarized reproduction of the signal of low amplitude level in analog signals, by taking a voltage variable resistance element as a nonlinear generating means and adding it to a superposition signal generating means. CONSTITUTION:A DC bias signal Ed and an analog signal Ep are obtained at both ends of a variable resistor VR1 as a superposed signal. This superposed signal is fed to a nonlinear generating means consisting of a voltage variable resistance element D1 and a resistor R6. In this case, the operating point Vp of the voltage variable resistance element D1 is set to a value corresponding to the DC level of the compared voltage level. Thus, the voltage variable element is at off-state at higher voltage by setting the operating point of the element D1. On the other hand, in the range near the peak voltage Vp, this voltage variable resistance element acts like a variable resistor and shows a low impedance near the peak voltage Vp especially. Accordingly, the parallel synthesized resistance between the variable resistor VR1 and this nonlinear generating means 3 is formed, the terminal voltage of the variable resistor VR1 is depressed down, and the white information of low amplitude in the black level can be reproduced.
