Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure an automatic switching control to the tuner for the channel selection device which gives an automatic switching of bands to the tuner for the TV picture receiver, by switching two switching elements in accordance with the VHF high and low bands as well as the UHF band. CONSTITUTION:The two switching elements 7 and 8 are connected in series to the power source 11 along with the resistances 9 and 10, and the mutual connection point between the elements 7 and 8 is connected to the band switching circuit 13 via the output terminal 12. Thus only the element 7 is closed in the case of the UHF band; and only the element 8 is closed for the VHF high band respectively. Furthermore, the elements 7 and 8 are opened for the VHF low band. As a result, circuit 13 selects the UHF tuner 19 and the VHF tuner 20 to the tuner 18, thus ensuring an automatic switching control for the working band of the tuner 18.
