Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an error in action for hour-striking by a method wherein hour- striking signals are read in twice consecutively from a sliding pattern, the striking is performed only when these signals accord with each other, while the read-in is repeated until the accordance is obtained when they are not in accord. CONSTITUTION:When false hour-striking signals are generated temporarily at contact points 6, 8, 10 and 12, different striking signals are generated on the output lines of D-type latches 22 and 24. At this time, a rise signal which turns from L to H is obtained on the output line 70 of a digital comparator 32, and the rise signal is impressed on a set input of a set-reset FF28 through the intermediary of an OR gate 45. As the result, the signal of the output line 46 of the set-reset FF28 turns from L to H, a read-in signal generator 26 starts oscillation again, and thereby the read-in from a sliding pattern 4 is performed. This action is repeated until the signals of the output lines of the D-type latches 22 and 24. Thus, the occurrence of the false hour- striking action is prevented.
