Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the setting of a position of stoppage of a moving recording head and make the setting highly accurate by controlling a stepping motor with simple circuits composed of two sensors, a microcomputer and others in the recorder wherein the recording head is made to perform subscanning by the stepping motor. CONSTITUTION:When the head 4 passes the final point A (B) in a recording area, a detection signal S from sensors 8a (8b) is inputted in the microcomputer MCP. A signal (a) corresponding to an approach distance alpha set beforehand from terminals Dphi-D7 is inputted in counters CONT1 and 2. Simultaneously when a signal STB is inputted from MCP in LOAD of CONT1 and 2 and the value based on the signal (a) is set in CONT1 and 2, the output Q of an F/F turns to be ''H'' in accordance with the signal STB and thereby a motor is driven continuously. However, when the output Q turns to be ''H'', AND in AND1 of an AND circuit is effected, the output of a pulse-generating circuit OSC is inputted in CONT1 and the set value in CONT 1 and 2 is subtracted. When the value becomes zero, F/F is reset by a signal given by BOR, thereby AND in AND1 and 2 turns not to be effected and the signal to the motor is intercepted.
