CONSTITUTION:Coil covers 4a, 4b of two kinds are prepared which consist of longer one of the dimensions L1 of a leg of the coil cover stacked on a slot liner 5 and shorter one of dimensions L2. The liner 5 is inserted into a slot 2 first, and coils such as coils 3mu of U phase concentrically wound are inserted into the slot 2 with the coil cover 4a with a longer leg. Coils 3v of V phase conventrically wound are inserted with the coil cover, coils 3w of W phase concentrically wound are inserted into the slot 2 lastly with the coil cover 4b with a shorter leg, and a stator is completely assembled. Thus, the coil covers can simply be inserted and fixed.
