Abstract

PURPOSE: To convert in a high accuracy the secondary voltage including the DC component into the low-voltage signal for detection of the voltage, by providing the partial pressure resistance and the compensating capacitor to the internal circiut of the probe.
CONSTITUTION: This voltage detecting probe detects directly the electric signal out of the ignition circuit of the internal combustion engine consisting of the ignition coil, the coil cord, the distributor, the plug cord, the ignition plug and others. In such probe, the conductor 2 is connected between the terminal 1 connected to the secondary output terminal of the ignition coil and the terminal 3 connected to the coil cord end. Thus a conduction is possible for the secondary voltage of a high level. And the secondary voltage to be applied to the conductor 2 is by-passed from the middle of the conductor 2 by the partial pressure resistances 4 and 5 plus compensating capacitors 6 and 7 to be led to the earth line E. The detection signal is led by the signal line 9 from the joint (1st gathering joint) between the resistances 4/5 and the capacitors 6/7.
