Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the steady current at the measuring part without outer turning, by forming previously a pair of right and left inner turning current immediately after the flow velocity generating device.
CONSTITUTION: The measuring part 4 having the free water level 5 is provided at the upper horizontal part of the circulating flow path 1, and observation windows 6 are provided at the side and bottom wall parts of the part 4. At the same time, a pair of right and left inner turning impellers 7 and 7 , which possess both the function of the flow velocity generating device 8 and a pair of right and left inner turning force applying device A, are installed at the lower upstream side of the path 1. As a result, a pair of right and left inner turning currents are formed immediately after the device 8. With this turning current, a pair of right and left outer turning currents caused at the area from the device 8 to the part 4 can be negated.
