Abstract

PURPOSE: To confirm the functioning for both the seismic sensor and the process circuit without giving any mechanical vibration to the sensor, by switching the seismic sensor utilizing the vibration of the mobile coil provided within the magnetic field to the process circuit which is connected to the DC power source by the switch circuit.
CONSTITUTION: When the confirmation is desired in the normal state for the functioning of both the seismic sensor 1 and the process circuit 4, the changeover switch 3 is turned to the terminal (b). The current flows to the mobile coil of the sensor 1 from the current generating circuit 2, and thus the mobile coil has a displacement by a fixed amount. Then the band is removed from the switch 3, and thus the switch 3 has an automatic reset to have contact to the terminal (a). Thus the mobile coil is reset to have vibrations by the function of the spring. As a result, the output relay 8 to ensure the confirmation of functioning for both the sensor 1 and the circuit 4.
