Treatment Of Liquids With Adsorbents In General
(AREA)
Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily perform the separation of plural kinds of materials by adding plural adsorbents of mutually different sizes into a soln. contg. plural materials to selectively adsorb said materials thereby separating them.
CONSTITUTION: Plural kinds of materials dissolved or suspended in an aqueous soln. are separated by selective adsorption. For example, in the case of separating and determining the CrIII, CrIV in an aqueous soln., a strong acidic cation exchanging body A of ≤200 mesh and a strong basic anion exchanging body B of ≥200 mesh are prepared for absorbing CrIII. Required amounts of A after making it to H type and B after making it to OH type are charged under stirring into an aqueous soln. of about 3W4pH. After the stirring, A and B are taken out and dried, then A and B are separated with 200-mesh sieves. Thereby, the separation and determination of CrIII and CRIV are performed.
