Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise temperature adjustment function and maneuverability by isolating from a humidifier a control box in which a humidify detecting part open to a room and an operating part and so forth are collected.
CONSTITUTION: A control box opening 18 is provided on the front wall 17 of a body case 1, a control box 21 is installed so as to be isolated from the air in the case 1 by a back cover 19, and an operation switch 23, a humidity adjuster 24, a humidity indicator 25 are fitted in the control box 22 thereof. A humidity detecting part 27 made of the nylon film or the like extending or shrinking, depending on humidity, is located in the lower part 30 of the box 21 and let communicate with room air by providing a proper number of openings 32 at the bottom 31 of a control panel 20 on the lower face of the box 21. A few communicating ports 40 are formed in the upper part 30 of the box 21, and a slant face 41 is provided in the lower part for making the panel 20 visible and humidifier body compact, stopping the forced ventilation of the room 22 and preventing dust accumulation.
