Abstract

PURPOSE:To speedily and surely break a main circuit current when various troubles occurred on a chopper circuit by a method wherein a switch located on a main circuit is released in response to a trouble detection signal of the main circuit. CONSTITUTION:In response to an accelerating signal sent from a current setting device 1, control of a current flow rate is properly performed at a comparator CMP making comparison with the current flowing on a main circuit and having a proper control at the same time in accordance with a signal sent from a delta wave generator 3, a pulse output of CMP is added to the base of a high transistor GTR and a switching is performed. At this time, an ''off'' signal from an ''off'' signal generator 4 is overlapped on the pulse output of CMP through an ''or'' circuit OR. This signal is a pulse signal which has an interval of several ms-100ms and by adding this signal to GTR control signals, it potects GTR from coming into an overall continuity status when a trouble occurred within the control circuit system. Therefore, the current of the main circuit can be broken speedily and without fail for any trouble arising on the chopper circuit.
