Abstract

PURPOSE:To smooth the operation of bearing portions and cool a stator core and a rotor core effectively by a mechanism wherein a cooling wind is sent into the cavity of the stator core and the rotor core from a ventilating hole formed to a fixed shaft while atomized oil is forwarded to the bearing portions from fixed oil holes. CONSTITUTION:A rotor core 5 fastened to a rotary roll 7 is arranged on an outer circumference of a stator core 3 fixed to the center of a fixed shaft 1 through a void 4. A cooling wind is sent to the void 4 and a void 11 between the rotor core 5 and the rotary roll through each hole 9, 10 in the diametrical direction of the stator core 3 and the rotor core 5 from a ventilating hole 8 formed to an axial core of the fixed shaft 1 and a longitudinal hole 8A. Bearings 15A, 15B are held at the insides of bearing frames 14A, 14B mounted at both ends of the rotary roll 7 while the outward side surfaces of the bearings 15A, 15B are blocked by shaft fixed frames 17A, 17B fitted to the fixed shaft 1. An atomized lubricant from an atomizing generator 30 is fed to the bearings 15A, 15B through lubricating holes 19A, 19B and oil discharging holes 23A, 23B formed to the shaft fixed frames 17A, 17B and fixed oil paths.
