Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the confirmation of contained articles and prevent them from dropping off, by providing a slit in a surface of a slender tubular container so that the slot extends from one end of the surface to the other and by providing elastic stoppers at the ends of the slit. CONSTITUTION:A slit 16, which has ends, is provided in the center of an upper plate 15 which faces he rest 11 of a tubular magazine 4 whose cross section is shaped like U. The molded part 1 of each semiconductor device housed in a space 5 can be observed through the slit 16. A spherical elastic stopper 17 is removably inserted in between the housing space and each end of the slit 16. Since a part of the stopper extends into the slit 16, the stopper can be secured in an optional position to prevent articles from dropping off. The stopper 17 and a cylindrical body 6 are made of poly vinyl chloride. The marked surface of each article housed in the magazine can be checked through the slit. The magazine is not made of expensive transparent resin but made of cheap colored resin of good molding property to reduce the cost of the magazine.
