Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the certain time correction feasible through a simple structure and easy manipulation by a method wherein the movement of two kinds of specified contacts, which rotate in a body with a rotating spindle, is detected by means of two pairs of detecting contacts to identify the rotary direction and the rotation speed.
CONSTITUTION: The rotary contact part 20, which rotates in one body with the time correction spindle, consists of two kinds of radio-active contacts 42 and 44; and each pair composed of two contacts is combined with each other alternately. These contacts 42, 44 are contacted with the detecting contacts 50, 52 and the output of the 1st and 2nd detecting parts 26, 28 which are composed of FFs of the detecting part 22 is applied to the switching circuit 30, the storage parts 32, 34 and the matrix circuit 36 which form the time correction circuit 24. Then, as a result the lead or delay control signal is generated in accordance with the rotary direction and the rotation speed of the spindle 38 in the circuit 24, to control the time reporting part.
