Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure the temperatures and spectral transmittanse of plural objects being measured, by a method wherein the radiant fluxes from N kinds of objects are received as a single radiant flux, the flux is dispersed into 2N effective wavelengths, and the obtained digital values are put in a predetermined equation to solve the latter. CONSTITUTION:The radiant fluxes from the N kinds of objects 2 are received as a single radiant flux, which is dispersed into 2N effective wavelengths with the relation (1/lambdai)-(1/lambda1+i)=alpha being maintained between adjacent effective wavelengths, where i=1, 2, 3,..., 2N-1. The dispersed radiant fluxes are converted into electrical digital values Xi by a converter 4, and equation I is solved by using the values of alpha so as to obtain the temperatures of the N kinds of objects 2. In equation I, epsilonn is the spectral admittance representative of the spectral admittance of the N kinds of objects; Un=eXp(-C2/Tn); Yi=(Xilambda1<5>/giC1); Tn is the temperature representative of the temperatures of the N kinds of objects; gi1 is the gain of measurement at the effective wavelength lambdai; C1=3.7415X10<-16>Wm<2>; and C2=1.43879X10<-2>m.deg.
