Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve safety and the prevention of the bridging of toners by providing the stationary pored plate and oscillating pored plate in the hopper horizontally parallel and providing multiple holes with vertical serration.
CONSTITUTION: A pored plate 3 which oscillates about a shaft 5 and a pored plate 4 secured to a hopper 1 are provided approximately vertically parallel and horizontally within the hopper 1. The shaft 5 is fixed with an oscillating arm 7 on the outer side of the hopper and is contacted with the cam 8 on the shaft of a sleeve 2 by a spring 6. The pores 3a, 4a of the pored plates 3, 4 are made smaller than about 8mm and these pores 3a, 4a are provided as many as possible to the relation of the mutually vertically serrated positions when the pored plate 3 is detained. A multiplicity of protrusions 3b, 4b are provided to both plates 3, 4. The pored plates 3, 4 are made of punching metals or wire netting. When with this constitution the toners are oscillation-charged by opening a cover 9 and even if they are thrusted by a bar- form materials at that time, it does not reach the sleeve having applied voltage owing to the serration of the pores and therefore there is no electric shock and this prevents the leakage of the toners and enables the prevention of the gridging of the toners.
