Abstract

PURPOSE:To accurately measure the seal rotary angle of an electron gun, by providing a tilt mount adapted to a pad face, a rotary plate rotating in such a manner that the axis of light can pass an angle hole part of the electron gun and a measuring means of displaying the rotary angle. CONSTITUTION:In the vicinity of the central part of a tilt mount 80 a rotary support body 81 is arranged, and to said support body 81 a rotary plate 57 is rotatably mounted. A light source 51 at one end of the rotary plate 57 and a TV camera 54 at the other end on the axis of light are equipped. The light source 51 is connected to a light dimmer 56 placed on the tilt mount 80. While to the side of the TV camera 54 from the center of the rotary plate 57 a screw 77 is rotatably and movably mounted, and at one end of said screw a rotary angle measuring dial 65 with a scale is provided and at the other end said screw is always contacted to a contact tip 56 protrusively provided on the tilt mount. In this way, a picture tube of extremely high quality having a good landing characteristic of electron beam can be obtained.
