Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a flexible disk from being damaged at the time of head- unloading, by providing a damper unit for head-unloading, by which the operation at the time of unloading is controlled, on the solenoid for head-loading.
CONSTITUTION: When the solenoid 25 is deenergized and becomes a head-unloading state, the plunger 33 is drawn upwards together with the guide body 41 by tensile force of the return spring 26. In this case, open air flows into the vessel body 40 through the penetrating hole 45, but since the diameter of the penetrating hole 45 is small, it is suppressed that the plunger 33 moves upwards abruptly. Also, the penetrating hole 42 is closed by the closing plate 44, and no open air flows into the vessel body 40 through the penetrating hole 42. Thus, it is suppressed that the heads 12, 13 move abruptly at the time of head-unloading, and therefore vibration of the flexible disk is not caused, and damage of the disk can be prevented entirely.
