Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a polyolefin compsn. for sheet, in which impact resistance and whitening property are improved, by a method wherein a high-density polyethylene is blended with a propylene homopolymer and/or a propylene random copolymer.
CONSTITUTION: A high-density polyethylene having a density of at least 0.942g/ cm3 is mixed with a propylene homopolymer having an isotactic index of not less than 90wt% and/or a propylene random copolymer in a weight ratio of 95:5W65: 35 of the polyethylene to the propylene polymer. A compsn. contg. not less than 85wt% of the resulting mixt. is provided. A preferred compsn. consists of 65W 95wt% of the propylene homopolymer and/or the propylene random copolymer and 5W35wt% of the high-density polyethylene having a density of at least 0.942g/ cm3, or is one in which further 3W15wt% of a low-density polyethylene and/or an ethylene-propylene rubber are/is blended therewith.
