Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure a smooth retrieving by detecting the record track position of the document information by the scale signal generator provided to the linear motor which drives the linear actuator.
CONSTITUTION: The scale signal generator 45 incorporating the linear motor 30 generates the scale signals A and B in accordance with the shift of the motor 30. The signals A and B are led to the signal converter 49 and then switched with every 90°-phase to be delivered in the form of the saw-tooth type reference signal C. The signal C is led to one input of the differential amplifier 51 via the buffer amplifier 50 as well as to the sample holding circuit 52. The circuit 52 gives an access to the desired track by the track detector 53 for detection and thus holds the signal C. Then the feedback circuit is provided to give a servo control to the working position of the linear motor based on the differential between the sample holding value and the signal C.
