Abstract
PURPOSE:To make high-speed transmission possible to transmit data with a high quality, by providing the optical fiber, which circulates from the master station through slave stations and is returned to the master station again, as a transmission line and by transmitting the signal and electric power simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:Master station MS is linked to slave stations 1RS, 2RS...nRS through optical fiber cable Fb. In master station MS, laser light Rb is modulated in light modulator Rm by ultrasonic vibrators BM1, BM2...BMn which excite ultrasonic wave US of respective natural frequencies. Light branching filter ODi branches light Rb transmitted through cable Fb and gives it to photo diode PDi. Diode PDi converts light Rb to a current, and this current is supplied to voltage power source converter PTi to obtain a corresponding voltage, and further, electric power is obtained which drives station iRS and corresponding remote iIO.
