Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve cutting performance and durability to high speed heavy cutting in the center portion of a cutting edge by forming the cutting edge spirally while forming a rake angle from the center portion to a chisel portion of the cutting edge.
CONSTITUTION: Cutting edges 10, 10 are formed respectively with spiral curves convex in the rotational direction as viewed from the bottom and increasing curvature as it approaches the center from the outer periphery.
