PURPOSE:To provide the second agent of a two-pack-type cold wave lotion having high hair-setting performance and giving durable wave with low hair damage, containing an amino acid or its salt, a bromic acid salt, and if necessary, a Mg salt. CONSTITUTION:The titled agent containing (A) 0.1-3wt%, (pref. 0.5-2wt%) of an amino acid or its salt (e.g. glycine, aspartic acid and their alkali (or alkaline earth metal salt), (B) 1-15wt% (pref. 3-10wt%) of a bromic acid salt (e.g. sodium bromate) and if necessary, (C) 0.1-5wt%, (pref. 1-3wt%) of a Mg salt (e.g. magnesium chloride). The agent has high hair-setting performance, and gives durable wave with low hair damage.
