Abstract

PURPOSE: To make possible the reconstruction of color images with white color light by juxtaposing the rectangular-strip shaped holograms of the same subject obtained by using the component color light necessary for color image formation and arranging these in close contact with each other.
CONSTITUTION: The beams from an He-Ne laser 1R of 6,328Å, an Ar laser IG of 5,145Å and an Ar laser 1B of 4,880Å forming colors pass through shutters 2R, 2G, 2B and mirrors 3R, 3G, 3B and reach a common optical path L0, where they are split to reference optical path L2 and object optical path L1. The reference light irradiates a photosensitive material 80 via a mirror 41 and a lens 42. The object light is condensed by a lens 6, a pinhole S and a lens 7, lights the color positive film 8 taken by changing the direction of the object to be hologramed, is focused in one direction by a cylindrical lens 50 via projection 9 and visual field lens 10, thus rectangular-strip-shaped holograms 100 are recorded at every color and every frame on the photosensitive material 80.
