Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the clamping of material to be treated, by inserting a clamp pin, having a head made by bending one end of a metallic bar which has a polygonal cross section, into a polygonal penetrating hole made in the plane on the principal axis side of a hanger so as to hold the material to be treated.
CONSTITUTION: Material to be treated such as alumite is clamped utilizing elastic stress of a clamp pin only by inserting the clamp pin into a hole made in the principal axis of a hanger for applying electricity. For example, a metallic square bar is bent as shown by an arrow to form a head and its top end 2 is shaved into a thin edge, and inserting end 3 on the other side is chamfered thereby making a clamp pin 1. Many tetragonal penetrating holes 6, 6' are made in a row through which the clamp pins 1 are fitted to both side planes 5, 5 of principal axis 4 of the hanger having U-shaped cross section. The clamp pin 1 is inserted into the hole 6 and a material to be treated 7 is supported between the top end 2 and the hanger plane 5, and the material 7 is fixed by pressing the pin head using the elastic stress of bending and the friction force between the pin 1 and the hole 6. The head of the pin 1 may be bent in semicircular arc or in hook shape.
