PURPOSE:To minimize the deformation of a stator in a generator by a method wherein the mutual angles of fitting bolts for clamping the stator in the generator fixed by holding a metal fitting between two fitting legs formed to brackets at the both sides are set to specified value. CONSTITUTION:Fitting legs 8, 9 are mounted to front brackets while a fitting leg 10 is disposed to a rear bracket 3, and a metal fitting 15 is held between the fitting legs 8, 10 to fix a generator 1. The mutual angles of through bolts 5 for clamping a stator are set so as to minimize the deformation of the stator at that time; the bolts are each arranged at the locations of 50+ or -3 degrees from the center of the fitting legs when the through bolts 5 are four; the bolts are each arranged at the locations of 125+ or -3 degrees from the center of the fitting leg 10 when the through bolts 5 are three. Thus, the deformation of a stator core is minimized, and magnetic noises can be decreased.
