Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain smooth transport fo goods on a conveyor belt by arranging a guide plate having a gliding part with rough surface under the conveyor belt which is used upon installation in the rear body of a motor truck to unload the goods.
CONSTITUTION: An endless belt converyor 4 installed on the floor 3 of the rear body 2 of a motor truck is composed of a conveying belt 18 suspended between a chain 16, in engagement with a sprocket 15 to be rotated by the power supplied from the engine, and a roller 17 at the tail, a coupling member 19 and a tension adjusting member 20. The conveyor 4 is provided with a guide plate 21 on which the conveying belt 18 glides with its undersurface, where thus quide plate 21 is secured to the floor 3 of the rear body 2 with the aid of two or more transverse frames 22, 22... and longitudinal frames 23, 23. The quide plate 21 shall have an uneven profile in the trnasverse direction and placed on a chassis 36 mounted on the tansverse frames 22. The tips of projections which the belt 18 contacts shall be lined with Teflon etc.
