Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the blocking of an electrostatic recording body obtd. by formin a dielectric layer on one side of a support with electrically conductive layer formed on both sides and to improve a ground stain of the body by adding an F- contg. compound to the conductive layer on the other side of the support.
CONSTITUTION: An aqueous soln. based on an electric conductivity donating agent such as polyvinlybenzyltrimethylammonium chloride is applied to one side of a support such as paper or plastics to form the 1st electrically conductive layer, and an aqueous soln. based on the agent and an F-contg. compound such as tetrafluoroethylene or its polymer is applied to the other side of the support to form the 2nd electrically conductive layer. On the 1st layer a dielectric layer of methacrylate polymer, polyvinyl toluene or the like is formed to obtain an electrostatic recording body. The dry amount of the agent in each of the layers is about 1W5g/m2, and the amount of the F-contg. compound in the 2nd layer is preferably adjusted to about 0.05W5% of the amount of the layer.
