Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the quantity of light to a receiving part and prevent light losses by forming one end face of the optical fiber constituting the 2nd directional coupler into a perfect reflecting surface so as to reflect light. CONSTITUTION:One end face 1b1' of the optical fiber 1b' of the 2nd directional coupler 1' is formed to a perfect reflecting surface to increase the quantity of light to the 1st directional coupler. Since the end face of one optical fiber constituting the 2nd directional coupler 1' is made to a perfect reflecting surface in this way, part of the light which has hitherto been radiated to the outside may be entered the optical fiber line connected to the 1st directional coupler, whereby the quantity of light to the receiving part may be increased and the loss of the light may be prevented.
